We’re proud to share that Cambridge College honorary degree recipient Vanessa Calderón-Rosado, PhD, is receiving three awards this fall. CEO of Inquilinos Boricuas en Acción (IBA), Boston, a long-standing partner of Cambridge College, Calderón-Rosado is a champion of social justice. The first award is the Mass Humanities 2023 Governor’s Awards in the Humanities and is presented in partnership with Governor Maura Healey. It is in recognition of Calderón-Rosado’s long and multifaceted career demonstrating a commitment to the humanities within education, community development, and philanthropy in Boston and across the state. Cambridge College is proud to celebrate the remarkable achievements of our alumna, Katherine Meyer, who graduated in 2021 with a Master's degree in Human Resource Management. Katherine's dedication and expertise have now led her to an esteemed position as the First Vice President, Human Resources Director for North Brookfield Savings Bank. With seven years of experience as the Vice President of Human Resources in a Connecticut-based credit union and previous leadership roles in diverse industries, Katherine's journey is a testament to the value of Cambridge College's education. We extend our warmest congratulations to Katherine and wish her continued success in her career.
